Join us on our adventures!
We are sixth grade sweethearts who reconnected after our respective divorces (yuck!) and finally found happiness! We got married seven years ago & blended our family into a big Brady Bunch, and we love it! By day, Todd works in politics and I work in medical sales. By night, we are travel junkies who are always planning our next adventure!
Growing up, my dad was always trying to make sure we experienced new places, and he & my mom traveled with my brother and I a good bit. I wasn’t fascinated by travel, though, until the “Wander Indiana” TV commercials of the mid-80’s - remember those? Growing up, my dad was always trying to make sure we experienced new places, and he & my mom traveled with my brother and I a good bit. I wasn’t fascinated by travel, though, until the “Wander Indiana” TV commercials of the mid-80’s - remember those? I spent my days calling 1-800 numbers, requesting brochures for every travel destination I could, and I’ve never really stopped. Todd, on the other hand, didn’t get the travel bug until he married me, lol… and now he’s just as travel crazy as I am!
We’ve been planning and prepping for an entire year, and it’s finally HERE!! Time to take off on our biggest adventure yet and fly all the way around the world - OHMYGOSH!! 😄
The excitement is real, and we’re ready to explore… and of course, we hope you’ll join us!

We see something new every time we come to San Francisco, and it’s all gorgeous! Since we only had one day this trip, we started early & covered a lot of ground by doing this tour: San Francisco to Muir Woods Tour - Dylan's. Highly recommend!!
We visited The Palace of Fine Arts, the Golden Gate Bridge, gawked at what $35 mil will buy you on Billionaires’ Row (couldn’t get the tour guide to take us to Nancy Pelosi’s house a block away - but we tried!) and then on to Muir Woods National Park. We had lunch & pomegranate margaritas in Sausalito…. Yum! We finished up the day on our own with a trolley ride to Union Square to do a little shopping (but not nearly as much as I’d like 😉).
Our hotel here is the Hyatt Centric Fisherman’s Wharf, which we chose mainly for its location (it’s a block from the water). We used 17,000 Hyatt points per night, and because we have Globalist status with Hyatt, we were upgraded to a King Deluxe corner room 😄. We also get free breakfast each morning as a Globalist perk, and the breakfast is outstanding! We’ve enjoyed the hotel and especially its restaurant, which is both beautiful and has great service. The cost for our room would have been $234 / night, and breakfast this morning was $70, including tip. All paid for completely through points & status!
As for Hyatt Globalist status, we achieved this without a single hotel night, by getting the World of Hyatt branded credit card and strategically earning & then utilizing the sign up bonus. This is where some planning comes in, but it’s definitely doable, and in my opinion, worth the effort. More on that later!
Tomorrow will be a travel day (ALL of it!) as we’re off to Singapore! 🇸🇬 Please say a little prayer for us; we can’t wait for our next stop!!
